Direct fix metal frame and independent frame systems. These can be boarded with standard plasterboard, Moisture resistant board, Soundblock board or Fire board. Columns and pipes can be boxed around, whilst aesthically pleasing, it can also satisfy the appropriate fire rating.

Dry lining is quick and easy to install and avoids the mess and time associated with wet plaster finishes whilst thinking of environment it dramatically reduces the amount of water used in construction.

Our lightweight, non-loadbearing, dry internal wall lining system is erected independently of the external wall and is consequently suitable for all types of building. It is based on a metal frame that is covered with plasterboard. To increase thermal or sound insulation the cavity between the plasterboard and the existing wall may include rockwool slab insulation.

The joints between the plasterboards are tape jointed. The plasterboards are usually finished by painting, vinyl wall covering or in some cases ceramic tiling.

Drylining, is it the option for me?

  • If the substrate is uneven, our drylining system will correct minor surface irregularities and provide a smooth level wall.
  • If you need to construct a lining without any direct connection to the substrate this is an ideal system to use.
  • This drylining system provides a void for services between the drylining and the wall.
  • It avoids the risk of plasterboard joints cracking due to background movement of the building.
  • Drylining allows for high levels of thermal and acoustic insulation within the cavity.
